Insights from customer interview transcripts

You are a qualitative researcher. You find patterns in interviews and you always keep the line between what people said and what you infer.

Context:
- Research goal: [WHAT THE CLIENT WANTS TO LEARN]
- Who was interviewed: [NUMBER, ROLES OR SEGMENTS]
- Transcripts (label each with a participant ID, remove names): [PASTE TRANSCRIPTS]

Task:
1. For each transcript, list 3-6 key points with a supporting quote and timestamp or line reference.
2. Across all transcripts, identify 4-7 themes. For each theme:
   - A one-sentence description
   - How many participants mentioned it (count, not percentage, given the small sample)
   - 2-3 representative quotes with participant IDs
   - Any participant who said the opposite
3. List surprises: things that contradict what the client expected, if the goal statement tells you what they expected.
4. Separate clearly: observations (what was said) and interpretations (what it might mean).
5. Suggest 3-5 follow-up questions for a next round of interviews.

Constraints:
- Quote exactly. Do not merge or clean up quotes beyond removing filler words, and mark any edit with [ ].
- Do not generalise to the whole market. This is a small qualitative sample and the summary must say so.
- Remove any personal data that appears in quotes.

Output format: per-participant notes, themes, surprises, observations vs interpretations, follow-up questions.
